“It was a decent hotel”

“First room offered had powerful odours (pets?) and not acceptable. Alternative room was fine although all odd numbered rooms suffer road noise in morning rushour. Breakfast very nice for level of hotel.”

“Everything was fine except we had to switch rooms 3 times, 1st room no air 2nd room no tv other than that every thing else was good.”

“We stayed at this hotel while riding the C&O Tow Path. The staff was very supportive of accommodating our bicycles. There was a liced room for them. The included breakfast was plentiful with a variety of options. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Room can use a better clean up. Bathroom, towels, and pillow/sheets. Needs to be clean better. No insect/roach, so good. Lights, microwave, and fridge all works. Staff are friendly and patient. 7.5/10 Would stay again.”

“When we arrived our tv was not working. Housekeeping ignored our room. Had to request trash removal and towels. We were there 5 days and housekeeping never came until the evening before we left and then it was only because I requested it. Breakfast is nice.”

“We had the 2 bedroom suite downstairs. Very quiet and comfortable. Perfect for sleeping. Dark and cool. Very clean. Breakfast was nothing the brag about. Store bought danish/mini muffins/bagels/english muffin. Choice of eggs. Didnt see a meat or potato choice. Just eggs cooked your way or Western omlet. First day there was no bread for toasting. Coffee and juice. There was a keurig in the room, so no need to go upstairs until 9 am ehen breakfast is served. Beautiful countryside. I would stay...

“My wife and I stayed here to catch a Nationals game. Located far enough that it isn't busy. Staff was friendly and hotel was well maintained. The hotel is located about 2 mins from TopGolf so we were able to try that out as well. Overall great experience!”

“Room was clean. The bathtub appeared to be newer, but there wasn't a rubber mat, nor anything stuck to the bottom of the tub to keep people from slipping, sliding and falling. I fell once while trying to bend over to get the soap for washing and then again while I was hanging onto the handicap bar and trying to turn around to get rinsed off. We put a towel on the tub floor to keep from slipping. I informed the front desk when I checked out.”

“Wifi was not working in room: had to go to lobby. Parking was a bit of a challenge in the early evening.”

“The room was clean but could use some remodeling. My room didn’t have a microwave (I guess you have to request a room with one), but I could use the breakfast area microwave. The bed was comfortable but squeaky. One front desk employee was particularly helpful and friendly. Overall my stay went well.”

“We stayed at Visitation during our son and DIL marriage in the Frederick courthouse- afterwards we reserved dinner at Wye Oak Tavern. The environment, presentation and superior taste of food made for a memorable evening. They treated us with a glass of complimentary champagne to celebrate our night and we never felt rushed to leave that evening. It was a special night and our stay at hotel was superb - rooms were immaculate and comfortable- hotel grounds were lovely to relax.”
